Matthew 8

Amazing display of the Master's power. Blessed be God.
This chapter is filled with healings. 
Here, we see the Father's willingness to heal being questioned but our Blessed Lord Jesus didn't just answer in the affirmative; He demonstrated it by touching the Leper. 
You don't touch a leper, you can heal him from afar, but since God's willingness to heal was in question, He went an extra mile, and touched him and healed him.
Again He said to the Centurion "I WILL come and heal him".
It is the Father's will to heal. And He has sent us as His agents to bring healing to the world.
We are a healing balm to the nations!
Oh that is even our church anthem!
So let's go and heal them in His matchless Name...

This is all red...
This is so intimate, like we are having a tete-a-tete with the Master.
Here, He is speaking to our hearts in a very affectionate way. What blessedness!

Our prayers are to be addressed to our Father...Wow! God is my Father...This is where it all ends.

Fast with joy.

Lay your treasures in heaven...how? through investing in the gospel.

Then as if He were whispering, He encourages us not to worry about anything. Our Heavenly Father cares for us. He will take care of us. This is where we must rest...in the fact that He cares so very much for us.  No storm, no trouble, no circumstance, no need, no want or desire should make you worry.  He cares... and He really does.

I AM CARE FREE...

This is all red...
Our Blessed Lord said it all...
What wisdom proceeded from His mouth. So many things to note...
Am thrilled by the fact that the Master Himself said; 'You are the salt of the earth...'
As if that is not good enough, He outdoes Himself... He elevates us to His status... He declares of you, 'YOU are the Light of the world...'
Meditate on this fact... Contemplate on it...
Can it really be any better than this?

Wow! Today we are introduced to the amazing and incredible ministry of John the Baptist. 
He stirred up Israel...and by God's power they all gathered to him, and then to our amazement he is pointing this mammoth crowd to Jesus Christ.
Notice his humility. Notice how he treats our Blessed Lord Jesus. 
The true test of a man's character is to point men to their true leader...
Few men can do this as good as John did.
This chapter is short and a bit of some meat...but am sure you can chew it...

Amazing chapter today, what a strange star.. It can appear and disappear.
What do you think the star was?

Yesterday in chapter one. We saw the royalty of our Blessed Lord. Today we see the magi....kings from the east bringing Him gifts. And one of the gifts is gold. A symbol of His royalty.

In this chapter also, we see Joseph strangely led by the ministry of seeing through dreams.

It is my prayer that as Joseph was greatly helped by the ministry of seeing, that you will experience it even more.

Expect it! Declare it! Receive it! It is yours!

In this chapter, We see the genealogy of our Blessed Lord traced to David and Abraham.
Matthew gave us the fact that Jesus was of a royal lineage...Note David the king begat Solomon, Solomon the king begat Roboam, and Roboam begat Abia; and Abia begat Asa; And Asa begat Josaphat; and Josaphat etc...
Our Blessed Lord came from a lineage of kings....
Now as a new creation in Christ; how do you trace your lineage?
Who begat you?
